Casino Delices

Casino delices 0 tin
Never trust black sardine cans. This one was supposed to be at the top. It was just awful. I could'nt even eat the sardines and had to throw them in the garbage. And this is rare for me ! Should have been good one, expensive can, britany labeled and prepared by 29046, means Connetable product. All fake ! Disgusting experience. Beware of black cans I say, they might be poisonous… Smelled like rotten…

CASINO au piment 4 tins !
Casino is a supermarket brand as Mark and Spencer
Hopefuly this one was really excellent, really nice fat sardines from Morocco, nicely hot, nice fish, delicious with Marsanay 2000 white burgundy. Of course I had to open the can on the back side, I know it's barbarous but it's the only way to keep the can fakely full for disposal… And as I am chic in any occasion, I used my special sardine server just to add a little ceremony to a Sunday evening lazy dinner, listening to an old Leonard Cohen song under the veranda…

Enjoy !

Do you find the initial presentation of the fish to be less beautiful when the tin is opened from the backside?

Because, that looks great, raggedy can and all.

Sardines are like a french flag, they can be presented in 3 colors. They are commonly 'parées au bleu", the back being what you can see when you open the tin. Nice sardines should be "parées au blanc", with silver belly being seen first, "parées au rouge" means neither back nor belly are nice enough to be seducing, then are wrapped in tomato sauce… In order to be prepared in the white fashion sardines must have different boarding cards dependind on the different chiefs in the factory, the range of the tin in the production, future clients, prices… Even when sardines could be "in white" (such as these Hot Casino), they're not because it's not on their fly program…

And I love exploring the back side of the world…
